Scraped Render
Scraped render or scratched render as it is sometimes called is the render finish that is achieved when using either monocouche or a thick silicone render such as K-Rend FT.
It is achieved by scratching back the final coat of render when it has slightly cured but not set using a special tool to leave a flat and pitted type finish. It is very flat and smooth and looks very crisp and modern as can be seen in the picture.

This is an example of a scraped render finish that was achieved using monocouche and is one of our most popular installations.
It is never easy deciding upon finishes or colours over the internet that is why we carry samples of the products we supply which can be viewed upon requesting a quote or site visit with us.
