Silicone Render

Silicone render is a formulation that has had silicone water repellants added to the cement based render. The silicone technology allows water vapour to pass through the render enabling the property to breathe whilst creating a water repellant surface leaving the surface drier and, as such, more resistant to algae and limebloom.

It is available in scraped or scratched textured finish or as a thin coat with a variety of finishes. It can also be used as a dash receiver or as a roughcast mix. Brick and ashlar stone effects can also be achieved in silicone render.
It is also a through coloured render so it won’t have to be painted and it comes in a range of colours which depend upon which manufacturer you use.
Below are some examples form the K-Rend Range.
